Ok. I am sitting on the couch watching CNN reports on how bad hurricane IKE have hit Houston. Hah i think i have a strange afffinity with hurricanes and natural disasters. I still rem that i was in Bangkok when the tsunami hit in 2002 but managed to flew off before the impact came.
This time i am in Vegas getting ready to go back to Houston only to realise that my flight has been re-scheduled due to the hurricane. i was supposed to be back on the 12th Sept n they expect the hurricane to make landfall on the 12th. Hmm seems like i am able to keep away from all the water so far....

Talking about flight re-scheduling, I was pretty pissed off with the arrangement. Called up SIA and wanted to fly in b4 the hurricane make landfall but they keep saying they can't re-schedule it cause its a redemption tix. What rubbish.... am i suppose to sit and wait @ the airport knowing that i could have done something about it?? n anyway, UA WILL RE-SCHDEULE it for free!!! so y not just connect me to UA n let me do the talking. What do u guys know about hurricane when ur sitting comfortably in a aircon back in calm safe SG??

Anyway, my trip is over le (other than me rotting in the suite in Vegas). It was a crazy trip but it sure was fun! Hah I drove for about a thousand miles and even learnt how to drink coffee and eat biscuit while driving!! Hmmm... i shall blog about my exp another day. Think thats all for now. HURRICANE IKE is dying down.... i will miss the hurricane exp... :(
